With the 2025 PGA Tour season now complete, attention has shifted to Team USA’s bid to reclaim the title from Europe, who enter the tournament buoyed by England’s Tommy Fleetwood capturing the FedEx Cup.
Six American players have already secured automatic qualification through Ryder Cup points: Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Xander Schauffele, Harris English, and first-time qualifiers J.J. Spaun and Russell Henley.
These names alone add formidable depth, but captain Keegan Bradley still has six captain’s picks to finalize, with contenders including Collin Morikawa, Maverick McNealy, and Justin Thomas.
Bradley himself has even been urged to consider competing — with former U.S. President Donald Trump suggesting he should take on a rare dual role as captain and player.
If he does, it would mark the first such instance since Arnold Palmer led the Americans in 1963.
