A young man tragically lost his life in Rohri, Sukkur district, following an alleged altercation with hotel staff over a delay in serving tea. Police have arrested one employee and launched an investigation into the incident.
According to initial details, the deceased was identified as Naeem Bhatti, who had visited the hotel for tea.
A heated argument reportedly broke out between Bhatti and a hotel waiter, Yar Muhammad Mahesar, over the delayed service. The dispute soon escalated into a physical confrontation.
During the scuffle, the waiter allegedly assaulted Bhatti, causing him to collapse. Onlookers rushed him to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries en route.
Following the incident, police arrested the hotel employee involved and confirmed that a formal investigation is underway. Authorities have also pledged to take legal action against any other individuals found involved.
The tragic death has sparked anger and grief in the local community, with residents demanding strict action against all responsible for the incident.
