The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a special gas supply schedule for Karachi during the Eidul Adha holidays, aiming to provide consumers with better-than-usual gas availability throughout the festive period.
According to an SSGC spokesperson, on Friday, June 6 (the night of Eid), the usual gas suspension time of 9:30 PM will be extended to 12:00 midnight.
On Saturday, June 7, the first day of Eid, gas supply will be restored at 5:00 AM and will remain uninterrupted throughout the day.
Similarly, gas will be available without any suspension on Sunday, June 8, the second day of Eid, and Monday, June 9, the third day of Eid. On Monday, supply will continue until 12:00 midnight.
Normal gas load-shedding schedules will resume from Tuesday, June 10.
This initiative has been taken to ensure convenience for the citizens during Eid celebrations, particularly for cooking and sacrificial arrangements.
