According to the details, the Sindh government has banned giving Ajrak and Sindhi caps as gifts in schools, while there will also be a complete ban on making students stand up to welcome guests. Instructions have been given to end the tradition of giving gifts at official functions.
A notification was also issued ordering directors, principals, and headmasters, according to which there will be a complete ban on making children stand up to welcome guests, and all institutions will be bound to fully implement the instructions.
The notification has declared the use of children for welcoming guests as inappropriate and strict action has also been indicated for violation of the orders.
It should be noted that Ajrak and caps are given great respect and honor in Sindh, while it is also customary to give them to guests as gifts. The purpose of giving Ajrak and Sindhi caps to someone as gifts is to give them respect and honor.
