Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, is set to broaden its global reach with the launch of flights to Peshawar, Pakistan, beginning on 29 September 2025.
The airline plans to operate this route using its advanced Airbus A320 aircraft, which feature eight Business Class seats and 150 Economy seats, delivering its renowned service to passengers. Initially set to run five flights a week, the service will transition to daily operations starting 22 November 2025.
This new route will link Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) with Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport (PEW), providing enhanced connectivity to Etihad’s expanding network.
Peshawar will become the fourth city in Pakistan to be served by Etihad Airways, joining Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore on its roster.

Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves expressed his excitement about this development, stating, “We are delighted to further strengthen our presence in Pakistan with the launch of our daily service between Abu Dhabi and Peshawar.
This new route underscores our dedication to offering crucial connectivity between Pakistan and the Gulf, as well as destinations across Africa, Europe, and North America. Moreover, we are increasing our Karachi flights to 17 per week starting 1 October.”
