Terrorists launched attacks on two police stations, a checkpost, and a Sui gas office late at night in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts of Karak and Peshawar, resulting in the martyrdom of a security guard and a sub-inspector.
According to details, unknown terrorists carried out deadly attacks at three locations in Karak district, resulting in one security official being martyred and another injured. A security guard was martyred in the attack on the gas office.
A private TV report stated that the security guard was martyred in the attack at the gas office in Issak Hamari, while armed attacks were also carried out at the Yakub Shaheed and Haram police stations. According to police, during the attack on the Yakub Shaheed police station in Karak, Sub-Inspector Aslam Noor embraced martyrdom.
Local police officials have stated that a vigorous counter-response is underway following the attacks. Meanwhile, in Peshawar, militants attacked the Pajjgi police post, and according to the police, one police constable was martyred in the attack.
