The Sindh IG and Karachi police chief have been summoned to the Chief Minister’s House regarding the Mustafa Amir murder case.
According to details, Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah has finally taken action 54 days after the incident, just a day before the National Assembly’s Standing Committee meeting.
In addition to the IG and Karachi police chief, officials, including DIG CIA, SSP AVCC, and SSP SIU, have also been called to CM House, where police chief Javed Alam Odho will present a briefing on the case.
During the briefing, officials will disclose investigative breakthroughs and shocking confessions made by the arrested suspects, Armaghan and Sahir Hassan.
Further discussions will also outline future action plans regarding the case.
This development comes as Armaghan remains in police custody and co-accused Sahir Hassan has been sent to judicial custody.
The case has now caught the attention of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Interior, which has officially taken notice.
Sindh IG and relevant officials have been directed to appear before the committee.
The committee has specifically requested a detailed report on Armaghan’s drug trafficking activities and other criminal involvements. Furthermore, the IG was summoned on Friday to present all relevant details.
Adding another twist to the case, co-accused Shiraz has confessed in court, admitting that he, along with Armaghan, burned Mustafa Amir alive.
With high-profile names emerging in the investigation, authorities are now intensifying their probe, and further developments are expected in the coming days.
