The Sindh Education Department has announced a holiday for all educational institutions across the province on January 28, 2025.
The closure is in observance of Shab-e-Mairaj.
The department issued a notification stating that all educational institutions under its purview will be closed on that day.

Shab-i-Meraj, is observed on the 27th of Rajab to commemorate the Holy Prophet’s (Peace Be Upon Him) Night of Ascent.
Schools and workplaces are typically closed to observe the holiday, which occurs every year.
Muslims offer prayers and attend religious gatherings to celebrate the occasion.
