KARACHI: in order to make easy the collection of Government receipts, duties and taxes. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has said that the official branches of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), as well as field offices of SBP Banking services corporation (SBP-BSC), will observe extended banking hours up to 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 31.

 According to SBP notification, all banks were ordered to keep their related branches open on Tuesday till such time that is essential to facilitate the special payment for Government transactions.
