In a shocking event, a software engineer lost his temper and killed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of his company in an office located in Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi.
As per a video circulating on Facebook, software engineer Muhammad Shuaib stabbed the CEO in the office on Monday. In the video, it is claimed that the accused had not been paid his salary for a long time, which led him to bring a knife to the office and stab the CEO.
The other employees of the software house, which comprises two rooms, grabbed the accused soon after the incident and handed him over to the police.
The murdered man was identified as Navid Khan. According to his brother, he was taken to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his wounds. The deceased’s brother further stated that Navid was not the owner of the company but was the CEO, while the accused was a former employee of the company.
He said that his brother was not guilty of the non-payment of the accused’s salary, as the salary was not sent from the company’s head office.
