DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least 9 terrorists, including 7 facilitators, have been arrested, including the mastermind of the attack on the compound of the security forces.
According to the details, the security forces arrested 9 accused including the mastermind and facilitators of the attack carried out 7 days ago in DI Khan. Officials said that the mastermind belongs to the Daraban area of DI Khan.
Officials said that 6 terrorists involved in the attack belonged to Afghanistan. The suicide bomber, Hasan alias Shukar, hailed from Afghanistan and released the video before the attack. The second suicide bomber, Sufatullah Marwat, was killed.
The identity documents of the dead suicide bomber Safatullah came to the fore. Suftullah’s father has admitted his son’s affiliation with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The authorities say that 5 terrorists of the TTP Gandapur group were also involved in the attack.
The security forces recovered the latest US-made weapons and ammunition from the possession of the terrorists. 22 security personnel were martyred while 29 were injured in the DI Khan attack. The forces killed 2 attackers along with other 2 terrorists.
