KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Friday registered back to back gains against the US dollar, appreciating 0.08% in the interbank market.
At close, the currency settled at 286.97, an increase of Rs0.23, as per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

On Thursday, the rupee gained some ground against the US dollar and appreciated 0.76% to settle at 287.20.
In a key development, the central bank’s foreign exchange reserves fell $32 million on a weekly basis, clocking in at nearly $8.15 billion as of July 27.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $13.46 billion.
