WASHINGTON: US State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller has said that the United States condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran as it is a heinous act.
Matthew Miller said in a press briefing, “We condemn the desecration of the Holy Quran, it is a heinous act, we appreciate the importance of the Holy Quran and other forms of worship and support the right to freedom of religion or belief for everyone.”
It should be noted that an Iraqi immigrant once again insulted the Holy Quran outside the Iraqi Embassy in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

A 37-year-old man named Salwan Momika did not burn the pages of the divine book this time, but disrespecting the Holy Quran, he dropped it and tripped over it.
The same Iraqi immigrant held a similar demonstration outside Stockholm’s central mosque during Eid al-Adha prayers last month, first desecrating a copy of the Quran and then setting it on fire in front of police.
