Justice delayed is justice denied

Politics and democracy are intertwined, with the former being a means to achieve the latter. In a democratic setup, it is essential that the public be involved in the political process, as the ultimate goal of any political system is to serve the public. Therefore, it is important that the public participates in the political process by voting and selecting the candidates who they believe will best serve their interests.

Unfortunately, in Pakistan, the public’s emotional attachment to their leaders often overshadows their rational thinking. Despite more than 75 years of existence, Pakistan is still facing numerous challenges, including the risk of becoming a failed state. The public’s unrealistic expectations of their leaders are a significant contributor to this problem. The public needs to understand that change takes time and effort, and cannot happen overnight.

Recent events in Pakistan serve as a stark reminder of the need for justice and the rule of law. The killing of a young PTI worker during a rally is a tragic incident that needs to be thoroughly investigated. It is not enough to simply deny responsibility for the incident. The police and the government must take serious action to find the culprit and bring them to justice.

Justice delayed is justice denied, and this cannot be allowed to happen. The government must ensure that the investigation is conducted promptly and transparently and that the perpetrators are brought to justice. This will not only provide closure to the family of the victim but also send a message that such incidents will not be tolerated in a democratic society.

Democratic societies are characterized by their ability to adapt to change, which is essential for progress and growth. Unfortunately, Pakistan has been slow to accept change and has failed to provide its citizens with basic necessities such as education and healthcare. This neglect has prevented many Pakistanis from realizing their full potential and contributing to the country’s development.

The ruling class in Pakistan has always been aware of the potential of its citizens and the impact education and healthcare could have on them. However, they chose to deny them access to these facilities to maintain their control over them. This has resulted in Pakistan being labeled as a backward nation, with its people being left behind in terms of development and progress.

The murder of a young PTI worker is a heinous crime that cannot be justified in any way. Those responsible for his death must be held accountable for their actions. The government must take swift and appropriate action against all aspects of the case, including the police’s role and the investigation. It is essential that justice is served, and those responsible for the crime are brought to justice.
