MATIARI: A police officer has raped a female officer in Hala Town near Matiari district of Sindh province and also made a video of the incident which has become viral on social media.
According to details, Hala police arrested the accused constable named Yousuf Bilal after registering a case under sections 336, 337, 356B, and 506 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of the victim.
“The constable called me to the official residence of the police under the pretext of working on an inquiry against an accused,” the victim told a local journalist. The woman said that she was drugged through a cup of tea, after which she fainted and the accused raped her and made a video of the incident.

The female police officer said that he was now blackmailing her by spreading the video of the torture on social media. Referring to the incident, Hyderabad DIG Pir Mohammad Shah said that the accused would be punished according to law and the victim would be given justice as soon as possible.
He said that on the instructions of IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, for the first time in the history of Sindh Police, female police officers were being made duty officers and writing head constables in various police stations across the province but they were discouraged by such incidents.
