The first thing to keep in mind is that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was a puppet regime. The game played against the elected Nawaz-government to bring Imran Khan to power was not even behind the scenes but in broad daylight. Everyone saw what ‘Baba Rahmatain’ and the Department of Agriculture did. And everyone saw what happened to change the 2018 election results.
The demand for “positive reporting” for this puppet government also became public and we all listened about “One Page” every day. It is also clear who gave water to this plant which was planted by General Hamid Gul 25 years ago. And now the fact is clear that the crop was finally reaped by General Bajwa.
In July last year, Khan was asked to appoint a new DG ISI to replace General Faiz. Khan did not agree. He was getting full support from Faiz. Those who helped run the store also had a huge share in the “profits”. The prime minister has the power to refuse, but the puppet does not. And that’s where the controversy started.
Then in October, the army announced that General Nadeem has replaced General Faiz as DG ISI. But Khan interrupted. This only aggravated the situation. Finally, on November 20, 2021, the change of DG ISI became possible. Russia has no plans to invade Ukraine until then. At least there was no such activity on the ground. Nor did Khan make any plans to go to Moscow. While it was decided to expel Imran Khan. Some of the activities that took place after November 20 were clearly visible, while some were activities were kept secret from the public.
Imran Khan did not dare to tell the real story to his workers. Someone else was ousting him and he was blaming someone else and that was his worst mistake. But he could not tell the truth. Because if he would told the truth of November 2021, previous ones would have told the truth from 2014 to November 2021.
Khan is blaming the United States because he failed to act in the public interest during his three-and-a-half years in power. He has made life difficult for the common man. In Nawaz Sharif’s era, cooking oil was Rs150 per kg, which is now Rs500 per kg. That is why he has not been able to present any achievement in his last speeches.
Imran’s whole emphasis was on the American conspiracy, which was based on a package of lies. Instead of doing anything for the people, he was happy to control the Sharif family for three and a half years. It seems that personal revenge was his priority instead of public welfare.
Now elections are to be held in a few months. In these circumstances, Khan has nothing to show the people. So they have created this American conspiracy drama. But the drama has been rejected by 64% of people in the Gallup poll. It is true that the military does not acknowledge that the United States has conspired against Khan. The army considers Khan’s allegations in this regard completely bogus.
The problem of PTI workers is that Khan taught them nothing but abuse. Khan did not have the political consciousness nor could he give it to his youth. Had he been aware of this, he would never have forgotten that these are foreign and defense matters which are controlled by the Establishment in Pakistan as well as in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Just think, the crisis in the United States also arose because Trump was changing the US foreign policy and calling Russia a friendly country which was not acceptable to the establishment there. Trump also tried to reverse the policy of the US establishment in the Gulf. And the American establishment did not accept that either.
So now Biden is back to the old strategy. But the most remarkable thing is that Imran Khan did nothing against the American interest in Pakistan. He returned from the United States, claiming to have won the World Cup once again. What was the World Cup? Just to please Trump.
After Trump, even Biden’s pleasures were so restless that he waited day and night for latter’s call. Now that Biden has not called, he has called her a conspirator. The question is, in what crime did America conspire against Khan? What has Khan done against America?
If there was a possibility of a foreign conspiracy, it would have been made by China, because Khan fulfilled America’s wish by putting a full stop to CPEC. What could be more ridiculous than that if you act against Chinese interests and the United States conspires.
Khan has done so much damage to Pakistan’s foreign policy that today Pakistan’s relations with China, Saudi Arabia and the United States are all affected. By praising an enemy like India from above, a deliberate attempt has been made to destroy the defense concept of the Establishment.
Despite dozens of support, Khan was not able to get even a simple majority in the 2018 elections. They also had to change the election results by installing RTS to get a simple majority. So now after such a bad performance, how can he win the election? But even if there is a chance, who will allow them to come to power now, given the blenders they have made on the foreign and defense fronts?
Shehbaz Sharif has become the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. Even the British agencies have declared money laundering accusations against Shehbaz a pack of lies. He has also had good relations with the army for the last 30 years, so he will have the support of the army as well.
Bringing the country out of the damage, Khan has done to Pakistan in terms of international relations and economy, will be the first priority of the new government. China and Saudi Arabia are Pakistan’s strategic partners. And they are both angry with Pakistan because of Khan’s policies. Now this relationship will get better quickly.
PTI will try agitation but its remnants will also leave with Khan. The electables are not crazy to sit in a ship whose captain’s mental balance is doubtful. And this ship is also heading towards the Establishment Tower. The next few months are about electoral reform. In the meantime, the PTI tent will look empty.
Maybe Khan, Murad Saeed and a few other youths will be behind. But they will not have PTI either. Shah Mehmood Qureshi is sure that in case of possible disqualification of Khan, he will be the front runner. But what do the youth have to do with Shah Mehmood? He will be left with fond memories of World Cup 92. And in the times to come, they will tell their family that there was a time when their sweat also rose!
