KARACHI: Three people were killed and nine others were injured when a coaster van and a bus collided on Monday morning in Landhi area.
According to rescue officials., a bus collided with a coaster near the Landhi Jail. As a result, three people died on the spot while nine others suffered injuries.
The bodies and injured were shifted Jinnah hospital. The coaster was carrying employees of a private company when it met the accident.
A day earlier, a policeman was killed while five others including a woman sustained injuries as robbers went on a rampage in Landhi area. A shootout between police and robbers near Alamgir Market claimed the life of policemen. He was identified as Hamza.
Two persons sustained serious injuries near Saba Cinema while resisting a robbery bid. The injured were named Shabbir and Ehtesham.
A young man, Bilal, was injured in a firing incident in Ayub Goth while a woman and her son sustained wounds when they put resistance. The injured were Saima and her son Aziq. Police have registered a case and launched an operation to arrest the criminals.
Earlier on November 22, a motorcyclist was killed while another was wounded in a horrific accident near Drigh Road on Shahrah-e-Faisal.
A speeding car went out of the driver’s control and rolled multiple times before crossing over to the other side of the road and hitting motorcyclists. As a result, a motorcyclist died on the spot while another got wounded.
