LARKANA: The body of a fourth-year student in Chandka Medical College was found hanging in a girl’s hostel room.
The student identified as Nosheen Kazmi was found hanging with a rope from a ceiling fan in her hostel room. The police reached the scene after the incident was reported. The medical college’s Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and doctors rushed to the room of the girl’s hostel No. 2 after the incident.
It could not be ascertained whether the student had committed suicide or was murdered. It was also pointed out the girl’s feet were on a table which raised suspicions of foul play. The students of the medical college have demanded a thorough investigation of the incident.
Social media users also demanded justice for the students with the hashtag #JusticeforNosheen. They demanded the university to investigate the matter and why the college has witnessed such incidents.
It must be mentioned that the girl’s hostel is the same place where the dead body of a final year student of Larkana’s dental college Nimrata Kumari Chandani was found dead. The body of the girl was found in mysterious circumstances in her hostel room on September 16, 2019.
