Pakistan likely to get loan from the IMF today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is likely to get a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today.

The IMF loan program for member countries is starting today. According to sources, Pakistan will receive a loan of $2.77 billion from the IMF.

According to sources, a loan of 2.77 billion is being given to Pakistan unconditionally and this amount is likely to be transferred to the account of the State Bank of Pakistan today. With the transfer of money, Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves are likely to reach historic highs.

It should be noted that the IMF Executive Board had approved loans for member countries. The $6 billion loan program for member countries was approved.
